You're about to dive into the culmination of a wild, wonderful, and sleep-deprived year of my life. Fresh out of university and standing on the edge of the "real world," I decided to take a leap and pour my heart and soul into this project.
Obscured is my labor of love, a testament to the power of caffeine, late-night brainstorming sessions, and a deep fascination with cryptids and tabletop games. It's a game designed to be thrilling, chilling, and – if I've done my job right – a lot of fun to play with friends.
I've always been drawn to the idea of ordinary people facing extraordinary circumstances, of everyday folks rising up to confront the monsters lurking in the shadows. And that's exactly what Obscured is all about.
In this game, you'll take on the role of a Hunter – a brave soul who has decided to stand against the darkness. You'll explore a world where the line between reality and nightmare blurs, where every corner holds a new mystery, and where the only thing standing between humanity and oblivion is... well, you.
But don't worry! While the world of Obscured can be dark and dangerous, it's also filled with wonder, excitement, and moments of laugh-out-loud absurdity. Because let's face it, when you and your friends are staring down a tentacled horror from beyond the stars, sometimes the only thing left to do is crack a joke.
