Changing Weapons
While locked in combat against the unknown, Hunters need to adapt on the fly. The key to survival could be frantically searching for the right tool amidst a swirling vortex of debris – a silver dagger tucked into a vest pocket, a sacred artifact fished from your satchel. Hunters can equip or unequip weapons as a free interaction during their turn.
However, remember, drawing and readying a weapon takes time. You cannot attack with a weapon in the same turn that you equip it.
Overseer: "The werewolf, a hulking mass of teeth and claws, lunges. What do you do, David?"
David: "My pistol won't be enough. I grab the warding talisman we found in the crypt. This... thing won't like it!"
Overseer: "With shaking hands, you fumble with the clasp of your talisman. The beast is closing in fast, but you manage to get it free. However, it will take time to activate..."
Amy: "Hang on! I'll buy David some time!"
