Spectral Exchange

While your soul companion is released, you may empower an aspect of them by exchanging your senses with theirs.

Mechanical Notes

Exchange your vision, hearing, or touch with your soul companion. Allows you to watch, listen, or feel from your companion's perspective while losing these senses from your original perspective. If you exchange your sense of touch, you may lift or interact with any object as you normally would.

  • Checks required while interacting out of your view are made with disadvantage.

Cunning Attack

As your opponent drops their guard, you call on your heightened senses to launch your attack.

Mechanical Notes

If another group member lands a weapon attack before your next turn, make a weapon attack that is guaranteed to hit with one additional damage die.

  • Prepared during your turn. If no weapon attacks succeed before your next turn, you use a charge regardless, and this ability ends.

Conveyance

Using an action, you can change positions with your soul companion.

Mechanical Notes

Instantly transport to where your soul companion was and vice versa.

  • If your companion is flying, you will fall as soon as you materialize.

Energy Theft

Empowered Spirit

You empower an ally in touch range by infusing them with your spiritual energy.

The ally's next weapon attack deals critical damage if it hits.

Level 12

Spirit Barrier

Your spirit companion forms a protective barrier that grants an ally or yourself perfect cover from all directions.

Mechanical Notes

Grants perfect cover for one turn. Anyone being protected cannot move or attack. Anything that attacks the protected target takes d10 corruption damage.

Level 16

Beyond The Veil

Your companion rips a target from this realm and into the spectral weave.

Mechanical Notes

Target must make a Charm save against your CT or be trapped in the spectral realm for 24 hours, unable to interact with the world. On a successful save, they take d12 energy damage.
