Forbidden Knowledge
Your otherworldly benefactor has cursed you with strange and unusual knowledge of the abyss. You can read, write and speak Abyssal fluently. You also gain advantage on any intellect checks made regarding abyssal lore or its creatures.
Strange Companion
You must choose one of three strange companions to accompany you on your adventures. Each companion is a sentient being with a personality independent of its master. Your Hunter can communicate with their companion telepathically in a range of 100 ft or verbally in Abyssal. During play, you will control your companion directly in and out of combat.
If your companion loses all their HP, they will return to the abyss and can be resummoned once per day using a 15-minute ritual. Your companion's max HP equals half of your Hunter's max HP, and they attack using your core attribute and modifier. Strange companions share your turn, and you can give them commands, such as telling them to attack or to make a check, by spending an action.

A mass of wriggling tentacles sprouting from a bulbous gray brain, the eldritch echo is an abyssal intellect with a quick wit and strange ideas. It is a small creature that hovers 3 feet off the ground. When holding onto one of its eight tentacles, beings with at least 5 Int can communicate telepathically.

The eldritch echo reaches into an opponent's mind and bombards them with horrifying images of the abyss. The opponent must make an Intellect save against your CT or take d6 mental damage.

A formless black blob covered in eyes that form and disappear without rhyme or reason. The Morphic Mass is a paradoxically charming little shapeshifter that loves to communicate by changing its form. It is a small creature that can stick to any surface and climb across walls and roofs. It has an innate ability to camouflage itself by morphing into an object or simply blending into the background, granting it advantage to any sneak checks.
Horrifying Shriek

The Morphic Mass lets out a piercing shriek, firing a blast of sound around it. Anyone in a 10 ft. sphere around it must make a Charm save against your CT or take d4 sonic damage.

A lithe lupine figure dressed in discarded clothes, the ghoulish grunt could pass as an ordinary child if it weren't for its lipless jaws, exaggerated fangs, and long claws. Ghoulish Grunts have a hunched profile of 4 ft. They are strong and ruthless in combat but are often known to mimic the personalities of their masters during day-to-day activities.
