Obscured - A Modern Horror TTRPG

I've finally got some exciting news to share! Remember that modern-day horror TTRPG I've been working on? Well, it's finally ready for everyone to dive into and play.

Obscured was originally meant to be a physical book or a paid PDF. Something more in line with traditional tabletop games. But as life happened and priorities shifted, I realised that what I wanted more than anything was for people to play and enjoy what I built. So, I decided to set Obscured free.

Free as in $0.

Now you can give it a try without worrying about your wallet. All you need is a device, an internet connection, and a few friends who don't mind a bit of existential dread.

In Obscured, you'll take on the role of a Hunter, one of the brave few who know the world's secrets and try to make a difference. You'll face off against everything from ghosts to ghouls, from aliens to cryptids. It's basically a typical day at the office for any well-seasoned paranormal investigator, just with more dice rolls.

I think I've put together a solid foundation of rules, archetypes, and lore for this v1.0.0 release. The real magic happens when you and your friends gather around the table (or the virtual tabletop) and breathe life into it with your own rules, ideas, and stories.

I'm not claiming Obscured will completely revolutionise the TTRPG scene. It's not perfect, and there's always room to iterate and improve. I am incredibly proud of what I built, and I can't wait to see the stories you tell and the horrors you survive.
